Click to expand.If you're planning on a western cowboy based character, one of my favorite weapons for that build is a fully modded cowboy reapeater. It fires quickly, is reasonably accurate, and the rounds hit hard enough that they can penetrate most armor you're going up against.
If you are into hand-loading, the.357 JFP is pretty much perfect, since it further decreases the DT on targets, increases damage, and doesn't even increase the amount of wear on your gun. Rounds are plentiful for the.357, and that allows you to break them down to make more JFPs. Honestly, I was using my cowboy repeater well into late-game.

Grafting the system improvements from the former into the latter gives you a better game than either. I'm taking the money I was going to spend on an Xbone and put it towards a superior PC upon which to play Fallout 3, Vegas and eventually 4.I hope at some point we get some sort of Coast to coast Grand Unified Fallout that allows us to visit all of the locations in each of the games in one game with one character. You could start at the east coast in the ruins of DC in Fallout 3, and eventually make your way to the Divide! I mean if some modding guy could find a way to link New Vegas and Fallout 3 together it can't be all that hard.
